I am upgrading my 96 powerstroke 4 plug uvch to a 2 plug system. I just got into my wiring harness and realized it wasn't worth saving. I'm buying a new harness. Can I upgrade my 1996 f superduty harness to a newer one just like I am doing for the uvch to avoid having to cut and splice wires.
I think your best bet would be to de-pin the injector harness at the 42-pin connector and run fresh wire & connectors to the new valve cover gaskets.
Ford Wedgelock Terminals E7EB-14487-AA for the engine side of the 42 pin, E7EB-14461-BA for the chassis side. Get a pair of these https://www.riffraffdiesel.com/valve...air-kit-99-03/ and you can run continuous wire without a bunch of splices.
That's the cleanest and most cost-effective way I can think to do it.
