What is this ??

New to Excursions.... on my 2001, what it this ??? An old Bump Stop ?? over rear axle?

Yes. Correct. Don’t replace it if you are going to add bags. That’s the first instruction before bolting down the bag mount.

Is there a certain size ? etc ?? Not adding bags... I use my truck to haul my toys

I bought a couple of Energy Suspension bump stops before I installed my bags. There in one (1) bolt that goes through the middle of the bump stop through the frame. Might have grind off the remainder of what is left over.
