How are those Polk's sound quality wise? Also what are the price ranges? My 94 is still rocking original speakers and it's time. I DEFINITELY didn't turn them up so loud they vibrated the mirrors and blow out one of them...

Heehee, that ol' "farm use" truck has some remnants of mirror at the post office cuz you gotta slam the door to shut it. I'll fix that eventually lol
As for sound quality, punchier and crisper than stock, not rattly at all, definitely has a lot of hidden potential, but definitely worth the upgrade, especially over a blown speaker
I did have to turn down the treble, (fancy lariat), but that's just probably an, "old truck new tech" kinda thing.
I have a 2014 Pioneer kicking around. Pay freight and give us a sob story, tis yours. Came out of Escalade EXT I am parting
I don't know what that is, but if it fits, AND give me better sound, I'm interested
As for a sob story, I could definitely think of something, but for now, I'll just go ahead and say, $5.24 and 37 gallons is not a fun combo (also somethings making my mpg go bye bye, so thats top of the "figure it out" list)

You’re not the only one. Saying you have a 2014 Pioneer is pretty much the same as saying you have a 2014 Ford that you would be willing to get rid of if you pay the towing. That could be anything from a Fiesta to an F-550. What model radio? Does it have a single disk CD player? Blue tooth? One of those big screen things that slides out of the unit and pops up? Does a Cadillac use the same size head unit as the OP’s truck?
I stated it was a radio in the post above yours where you decided to attempt to impose your will on me and the thread.
I did no such thing. All I said was that in 2023, there are seven models of Pioneer head units for a ‘91 F-Series. I’m sure there were many more models available in 2014. What I said was that your description was vague and you still haven’t answered the question of what model Pioneer radio so the OP can make an informed decision about wanting the radio you are offering.
Let us start with the fact I was addressing the OP, not you. Next, this is obviously an audio thread...figured it would make sense what a Pioneer was via the post, evidently not. I guess I should be far more descriptive for a free item when people like you are going to reply.
Furthermore, why would I give him a radio that does not fit? Seriously you think I would waste his time or mine? The vehicle it came from used a 1.5 DIN, say it actually had one, Pioneer has not made them in around 20 years...and obviously would not fit regardless of the fact. Say it was a double DIN, once again would not fit. A free radio is basic, nothing wild and beats whatever is still in his truck from 1991. I have no idea its features nor do I care, it works and he is doing this all on a budget. Again, free and helping out another member here. So not 1.5 DIN, not double...what could it be?
The OP and I have been texting and he is excited for it. The unit goes out Monday. He has received photographs and did his own research. Powers up, makes noise. I have no reason to keep you informed of our discussion, nor do I care to do so.
You are the one still at this for whatever reason. You could have said nothing or just stated 'wow, what a nice offer for what is probably a radio'.
