Question Leveling kit / tire size combo???

I am thinking of the SuperLift leveling kit and either 285/75's or 265/75's on my stock 2002 F250 SD rims. How would that work out, ok? I don't want the whole monster tire/lift setup. Just want to level it out and put a little more meat on the road.

My people at Hardcore 4X4 in nearby Visalia, CA say that the SuperLift is a good fit and one of the easier installs because they're made to spec real well.

Will I need the SuperLift speedometer calibrator with either tire combo?

Thanks!
Daryl

your stock tires should be 265/75's , diffinitly go with the 285/75's they will look much better. I have a tuff-country leveling kit and like it, but I think the superlift would be good too.

Kevin,
I've come to learn/understand that my year and model came with either the 265/75X16's or the tire I have, which is a 235/85X16. I agree with you though and think the 285/75X16's will look nice once the leveling kit is installed.

Thanks!
Daryl

Hey Matt

I was there yesterday. They don't have much of anything IN STOCK. I got to talking to a guy there and from what he told me I may decide to give the "X" springs a try.

Central CA truck stores

SavageSam,
I do my shopping at Hardcore 4X4 in Visalia(559-733-3278). Talk to Donny and tell him I sent ya. They do installs and have good prices. They LOVE Ford's and Donny himself tears it up at Pismo frequently with his nitrous F250! They DEFINITELY know their stuff and don't try to oversell you something you don't need or want. Cool folk...
