So my dealer sent me an e-mail that they would buy my 2022 F350 Lariat and sell me a similar 2023 F350 Lariat and all I had to do was pay them $27,081 for the swap. They are calling the program "Upgrade Eligible" and I have to decide by 31 Aug. My truck is 16 months old with 14k miles on it and they are going to give me $57,881 for it. How generous, since I paid about $85k for it. Have these guys lost their minds? Not to mention my current note is 2.75%. I have no idea how they would work this even if I wanted to since you can't order 2023s anymore and I'm sure they don't have one on the lot.

Anyone else get something like this in an e-mail?
The other thing that happens all the time with those deals is that once they get you down to the dealer to do the deal, they end up not giving you as much as the offer in the email.

I paid $72k for my 2021 and got $70k on trade in. Then paid $69k for the new one. There are deals to be had. That offer is a horrible deal. Interest rates really are horrible right now.
