I used to want a Lincoln Mark VIII. Still do sometimes.

Anyway, the crappiest car I have ever driven was my buddy's Pontiac 6000. Wipers worked depending on if it was raining or not. The e-fan was dash switched. Power steering had an air lock. Power windows were WAY too slow.

He ended up selling it to a poor sucker for 1300 bucks.

Chevette, it and Vega's had to be some of the worst, I never owned a chevette but this little guy that worked for me at Ft. Bragg had one, Omar Hassan was his name. His clutch cable went out on his car and I made the mistake of saying "those are easy to change" The only thing easy about a chevette was deciding to dump it for a better car, or just plain dumping it.

ANY CHEBBY!

My dads company truck ('98 SS-350) has been in the shop 3 times, EVERY month! Each trip was well over $800. Oh well...the company pays for it....and his company is getting him a 2004 F-250 to replace it with!

Worst vehicles...hmmm, okay these are not in order though!

Mid 80s Am General Humvee- gutless 6.2 diesel, can't get out of it's own way! Endless head gasket problems, eats: trannies, u-joints, cv joints, ball joints, tires, absolutely no climbing or towing power what so ever! (My work vehicle)

91 Volkswagen Fox- Damn thing idled at 2500 rpms, very annoying door buzzer ( I think it was the German national anthem) had pickup and go comparable to that of a moped 1.8 ltr I4. roof line was too low for me. The steering was very quirky, with hard spots when turning. (teachers car)

89 Oldsmobile Delta 88- Rust bucket! (3.8 V6)Heater had a mind of its own. Felt like it was going roll even on the slightest curve. Tires were always going flat, rear of the car way always squatting even with no weight in it! (friends car)

88 Oldsmobile (Gutless) Cutlass Calais- Rust bucket, no leg room, low roof line, no power (2.5 Iron Duke...good motor but this one was worn out) speedometer was about 40mph slow, no brakes, transmission down shifted when it felt it was necessary.
(boss' car)

88 Chevy Celebritry- very loose steering column, no power (2.5 Iron Duke), poor handling, very unstable unreliable car. (friends car)

89 Dodge Grand Caravan- (3.0 V6 Mitsubishi motor) no heat, would not start if it smelled like rain, would not shift into high gear half the time, down shifted out of high gear at highway speed and nearly blew the engine, oil burner, rust bucket, endless power window problems. (one of my cars)

85 Chevy Camaro- (2.8 V6) Gutless, noisy, all kinds of clunks and bangs underneath, T-tops leaking, no heat, get stuck in a half an inch of snow. (friends car)

My personal hated POC vehicle was my '65 Corvair convertable. By the time I had replaced 90% of the car, it averaged out to be more of a '92, and the replacement parts were already needing re-replacement. And it was only a fair weather driver. If it's OK to pass this on, it's worth a read and a some good laughs. http://cartalk.cars.com/About/Worst-Cars/

Wow. I had a 72 Commando that was ~bullet proof~.

304, Turbo 400, Dana 4:11, limited slip in both ends, - it was a bear!

I paid $500 for it, drove it hard for a few years and gave it to a friend of mine for free. It was still strong as an ox (but the springs were shot).

1992 pontiac grand am, first week my mom owned it the head cracked and had to be takin back and replaced, motor mounts broke driving normally down the road, rusted holes in the muffler pipe, all the dials for the heat and ac fall off when u turn the ****, speedo works when u hit the dash, barely starts in the winter oh yeah it has a quad four engine "EFI", brakes dont work worth a crap even after replaced. "moms car"

1986 cadiall couple deville, big V8 under the hood all electrnic, ud be lucky if the windows would roll up or down or if the dorr would unlock, electrnic leveling system, did not work properly u would pull up to a stop light, and the rearend would rais up on its own, always in the shop because of computer melfunctions not working properly, elcetronic seets did not work right, car had get up in go and that was only if driving from the repair shop after work was done, motor mounts also broke on monthly bases, what a POS. "moms car"

Since I'm in the junkyards all the time looking for cool stuff, I notice all the newer cars/trucks ending up in there. I'm seeing TONS of Saturns and Ford Contour/Mercury Mystiques in there. I also saw a 95 Dodge cargo van with a completley rotted-out floor.
