timing mark scale ?
Cant find the timing mark scale on 1989 F250 w/5.8L and auto trans. Please help...Thanks

The pointer is on the front of the engine (passenger side). The numbers are on the balancer. Is that what you want to know? Don’t forget to warm up the engine and remove the spout connector.

Get a silver sharpie and mark what you’re setting the base timing to. That’s what I had to do.

Another tip to make the marks visible, first clean up the surface with some fine sandpaper and then rub it with chalk which will naturally fill in the marks.
