Greasing front end 2023?!

Just watched a video from the Ford Service tech guy that says Ford got rid of the grease zerks on the front ends of the 2023's. Has anyone crawled under there themselves to confirm?

Unless you had a F-450 they were pretty much gone before. Must have taken the last ones out of the U-joints in the axle?

My 19 F350 had the zerks on the front end and I greased ever oil change. I will get under this new 23 beast this weekend and see what I can see.

It shouldn’t have had more than the two in the u-joints unless you’d changed the tie rod ends or ball joints since it was built.

I saw the same video. Based on that, I would expect all '23+ SRW to now be completely maintenance free. The only grease points we had up till now on the SRW were at the front axle u joints. Not a major loss IMO.

Just the way metro men want them, maintenance free. Take it to Ford and get the maintenance done. Wouldn't want to ruin a good manicure.

And this right here is why they are so expensive for us lowly blue collar workers that actually need them.
It’s become a status symbol instead of a tool to support the family.

I was actually all over my 2019 from front to back earlier today and the only grease zerks I could find were on the front U-joints in the half shafts.

u joints without grease zerks are stronger in the center cross...

So there's an upside!

The lower ball joints will fail first without greasing. Mine started to seize up at around 60k. Audible squeek while turning. I bought some of those hammer in zirks and it's still good now at 270k

that’s what I’m referring to , the front axle u joints . Are they still greaseable on 23s?

Based I what I saw in that video, and that SD being a '23, I expect all the SRW '23+ to have non greaseable front axle u joints. I guess there haven't been enough '23 owners who have looked under their trucks to post up and verify yet, but I see no reason why that SD in the video would be the only one. If I had a '23 I would run and and check for you.
