New Excursion….adjustable pedal question
I just purchased a 2000 Excursion. It does not have adjustable pedals, but they are a must for my wife. I have found other threads that say it is possible.
My questions are:
1.) have any of you added them to you Excursion?
2.) if so, how hard was it?
3.) how hard is it to swap the under dash wiring harness?
4.) if I get a harness out of a vehicle that had the steering wheel controls and auto-headlights, could I upgrade to them as well?

Why would you buy a vehicle that lacked an option that is " a must for my wife"?
Can it be done , yeah, ,,,will be a PIA , stupid expensive, and way time consuming all at the same time,,,,, oh hell yeah.

Because it is also the only truck we have found that had all of our other requirements.

It wasn't an option in 2000. Offered either in late 2001 production for the 01 year, or in 02 with the new electrical platform. I wanted to add it to mine, but without being pre-wired for the option, and most of all the NOS hardware is now NLA, I gave up.
