I got one of these for my transmission and was thinking might as well add one for the hydro boost. Anyone running a filter on their system looking for recommendations on where to place it.
Thanks for the help
I installed something similar on the hydro booster fluid return line. In hindsight though that is about the lowest traffic spot to put it. I mean in theory all the fluid will pass through the filter, it just might cycle through the rest of the system once or twice before catching that fork in the road. Of course there's the fact that it would be the least effected if the filter was ever to plug up or become restrictive, so... Coin toss I guess.
Not trying to trash talk the product but, that sales pitch felt an awful lot like an infomercial. Kept looking for the "But wait there's more!". Not sure how keen I am on the no oil pressure, gonna use some air pump to push oil back to the engine at a whopping 3 psi.
I was thinking of that on the PS pump circuit actually. I think we discussed a while ago that the centrifuge might remove beneficial additives from engine oil.

Interesting, guess I missed that thread/post. But they have proof it will extend the life of your engine oil. Filter particles down to less than 1 micron. Who wouldn't want that? I should get 3 so I can do engine oil, steering, and fuel. But wait I'll need 1 more for the transmission.

I believe I put mine in the same spot but I installed it up by the master cylinder on the return line. I installed a magnefine filter several years ago and no problems to date.
