So i have 2 fuel system kit that im stuck with since my customer backed out from fixing trucks that he bought. They both had def contaminated and we agreed on price to fix them. Well its now been month cant get hold
of him and im stuck with 2 kits because i dont have the receipts and dealer wont take back without receipt. Is anyone on here on need of fuel system kit for their trucks?
Fuel contamination kit(s). What exactly is the difference between those part#'s? They look to be for the same application and include the same parts.
Dealership just said number was updated to B ftom A but i couldnt see difference except for the fuel tube. They use to come with blue seal now coming with hard black plastic cover on the tube ends
I would be nervous that what I would be getting is a box of what was removed . Risky.
it would need to be a super fire sale.
If you was buying what prove you need your getting what you paying for. Im 12k in the hole sitting on these kits since i was stupid enough buy parts using my money.

It's crazy how expensive these kits are, PLUS they want a $1500 core charge on top. I don't know what kind of shop you operate, but if you service these trucks often you can hopefully recoup your money soon. Unfortunately for us owners, fuel system contamination and failure are not too uncommon.
The dealer should have a record of sale in their system. I imagine you didn't pay cash so there should be a credit transaction.
