fuel pump
i have a 53 f 100. i have to prime carb if i let it set even a day. fuel pump or carb? runs and idles fine when i get it going. noticed this morming the filter bowl is 3/4 full. no leaks that i see

OK, I'm confused. Your first post so we need more info. Motor type, size, carb type, etc. would be helpful. And if you plan to hang around you may want to intro yourself and show us picutures.

The bowl will assume a static level - 3/4 full doesn't mean it's leaking there.
My 48 has always required full choke when cold until it starts. Likely the carb leaking down if you're not seeing leaks on the outside.
