Clutch for a Frankenstein

Hey I have a '66 F100 that the previous owner tried to make a hot-rod out of him. He Swapped in a '70 351 Cleveland with a M5OD-R2 tranny from a 89 F150. I basically I use the truck as a truck with occasional towing. The rig needs a new clutch and hydraulic slave cylinder. My question is which clutch will work with the M5OD tranny and the 351?

What's in it now?

Possibly the whole stock 351C clutch or a 351C pressure plate with a disc for the splines on the M5OD.

I think the clutch is still good, I suspect the salve cylinder thingy. When I start the truck in the morning the clutch engages at the bottom of the pedal yet after one or two applications the clutch doesn't grab until all the way at the top. Is this typical of a bad slave cylinder in the M5OD? Sorry if the question seems dumb but I have never had a vehicle with a hydraulic clutch.

You need to crawl around and check for leaks. If it's not leaking, then bleed the thing. Go over to the 89-96 forum and do a search for bleeding hydraulic clutch..
