2023 F250 weird problems
First, thanks for the wealth of info on this site - Been helpful.
I picked up my 2023 F250 Ultimate Lariat with the HO 6.7 diesel a few weeks ago and have 1300 miles on it now.
Since I've had the truck I've had lots of weird stuff happen. Some has been fixed by the dealer and some hasn't. The first issue was a steering wheel that was off-center by about 10 degrees - the dealer easily fixed this. But I also asked them to look at the intermittent wipers and rain sensing feature because they weren't working. They were stumped and are calling a Ford field service engineer to see what they could do. This was Monday this week. Since then, I found this forum and some interesting posts about having to delete and or match up driver profiles to fix the wiper problem. This half worked - The intermittent wiper feature works, but the rain sensing still doesn't.
Other problems:
- I am getting random chimes while parked or while driving with no dash notification saying what it is...
- The pro-trailer system is randomly losing my trailer information and I need to restart the truck to make it come back..
- This morning when I started up I got a message that said "front camera not detected, cross traffic alert disabled" etc.. and had to restart the car to clear it and make the camera work again..
- Sync regularly forgets some settings. Like the stereo balance and fade settings consistently return to factory settings at each start up..
- The Ford navigation is awful - I went to the dentist and Ford Nav said it would take an hour and a half to get there. Google Nav took me 35 minutes.
Don't get me wrong, I love the truck and the power of the diesel, but these little problems are starting to add up...
Just needed to vent.
Thanks
