I just had my 2021 F250 windshield replaced with an OEM brand with the Ford logo. I decided to get the calibration checked just to make sure everything was working properly. On my drive down to the dealership everything seemed to be working (360 cameras & lane assist). After the calibration, all my 360 cameras stopped working. I was told by the dealership that the calibration is not as easy as just checking to make sure lane assist is lined up properly. They have to reinstall the software and said they have had problems before with the F250s on uploading the software. They said they may have to get ford engineering involved to correct the problem.
Has anybody else had issues with their cameras after recalibration and what was done to correct the problem.
I would like to know how the 360 cameras are tied into anything involved with a windshield replacement? None of the cameras used are near the windshield.
I had the windshield vendor recalibrate and I've had the Ford dealership recalibrate. The vendor did it by driving around. Ford did it by setting up markers in the bay. It worked both times, no errors and my cameras still worked. It sounds like the dealership messed it up.
My front windshield video module (camera) on my 2920 F350 failed and needed to be replaced about 4 weeks ago. The dealership had it for 3 days trying to load software and recalibrate. It failed the software reload first 2 times. It took like 6 hours to load the software each time.
Then I had to bring it back because lane keeping assist wasn’t working. They said the computer didn’t take the ride height input and had to do it again and align the camera. It’s finally working.

Did that mess with your 360 cams for some strange reason? Trying to understand why the OP's 360 cam system stopped working from a windshield replacement.
The truck appears to have been repaired. The cameras are all working. They software was reloaded today. The technician showing on the bill "relearn 360 camera". I don`t know what they did other than reloading the software again. I know the head machinic was at the dealership today, I picked the truck up at closing today. Lets hope everything is working moving forward.

The trucks with lane assist or automatic windshield wipers or emergency automatic braking use a camera mounted high behind the windshield (behind the rearview mirror). It would make sense to me that processing images for those options would utilize the same software (module) as the 360° cameras.

Hmm, maybe, I'm really not familiar with how all that works. I was thinking that the 360 system is completely unrelated, does not use that camera behind the mirror, and that it also wouldn't be tied to those other non related features.
I guess the OP's question still stands, has anyone else had their 360 cams (or any cams) stop working after windshield replacement and recalibration.
How would you know if your emergency braking system is not working?
Have you ever been driving along and saw someone in front of you was slowing down to make a right hand turn ... and you know your path will become clear as soon as that vehicle completes the turn ... but you don't slow down and the truck's software becomes nervous about an impending impact, and some lights flash on your dashboard along with some "urgent" beeping? That's the AEB (Automatic Emergency Braking) system warning you before it actually applies the brakes.
I've gotten those warnings a couple times, and beyond that, I don't know of a way to ensure the AEB is active and working.
DISCLAIMER: I am not suggesting under any circumstances that you attempt to duplicate the scenario I described above.
On my 2017, the AEB will engage the brakes only if cruise control is on. Otherwise, it preloads the brakes so that if you hit them it's going to stop RIGHT NOW. Both ways, the flashing lights and warning signal come on. Scared the crap out of me the first time that happened.
