My previous 3 new Ford trucks combined cost about $10,000 less than my ordered 2017 Lariat 4x4 CCSB Power Stroke.
Started with a 1979 F150 Custom for $5500. (Ordered, regular cab, long bed, 6 cylinder, granny 4 speed, 2 wheel drive, bare bones…….all I could afford at the time)
Next up was a 1995 F150 XLT for $19,800. (Ordered, super cab, short bed, 4x4, 6 cylinder, granny 4 speed again)
In 2006 I bought an F150 XLT off of the lot for $26,700. (Super Cab, short bed, 4x4)
I have watched as prices are still going up, but there is no comparison with my current truck than my past 3 trucks. This bad boy is awesome.
An interesting side note: I bought my 2006 F150 for about the same price as I paid for a new 1996 Chevy S10 Blazer, both vehicles with about the same options. Me thinks I may have paid too much for the Blazer.
Thanks, I have the Equalizer E4 and just set it up yesterday. I need a center console and some center stack vents, I think Obsidian, but I haven't pulled one yet to check. I have Katzkin laying out in the basement so some wrinkles will come out and a WatsonTech SYNC3 upgrade on the way. Then it's small stuff, remote start, tailgate assist, Starkey bed light kit. Took some weathertechs out because, well garbage and put some Husky Weatherbeaters in. Also going to use a SCT BDX to monitor the transmission and coolant temps. Installed a DeeZee bed mat over the Linex and a Tyger tonneau cover. Whatcha got? PM me here or there if you want.
Check out the Banks iDash for monitoring. Works for both gas and diesel and has all kinds of goodies with only a 2" dial footprint.
I need to get out and warsh my truck, it hasn't been touched all summer, been too busy.
Hey where are the warsh threads? I mean, really? Does no one warsh their truck?
I wish someone here would separate the model years in their own category,...'17-'19's,...'20-'22's, and '23+. If i'm interested in topics for my MY why do I have to see all the other MY's that don't appy?
I'll second that as I've questioned this for several years now. Sent PM questioning if this could be addressed and no response. If this would / could happen it would cut down on the repeated questions that come up as people "can not" find / sift through threads to find already addressed issues with similar year models as they have in their search(s). Including myself. lol

I remember at one point people wanted to get the 99-16 section broken up into at least 99-04 and 05-16 because of the significant changes that happened in '05 ...nope.
Oh yeah, a LOT better! Just remember to use the WDH cause it will still sway even if you don't need to transfer anything. Been there lived it! LOL
I traded Precious for a 19 F-450 so whatever you need on the 19 give me a shout maybe I can help
Haven't towed yet, but one thing I am super surprised at, is how much better this 23 SD tracks in the slow lane with "truck" grooves.
Again, comparing to an 05 Dodge, so maybe all the new 3/4+ trucks are this good, but so far it is amazing to me.
