I liked the days when guys posted they had a 3k PCO popup available if anyone needed it. One of those posts saved me 3k on my 18. I don't think Ford even does them anymore just email or mail randomly to individuals.
But now the current XLT is almost as nice as the previous KR trucks
and can’t we say that about your 19? That “we can’t believe how expensive it’s gotten compared to the same truck from 4 or 5 years prior?
When you paid 67k for yours some dude with a 2014 or 2015 was saying “I only paid 50k….couldn’t imagine paying almost 70k for a truck”
inflation is a bitch and we can all agree it’s be nice if everything was cheaper lol
Wish my XLT was. I don't have: LED headlights, power pedals, power folding mirrors, heated steering wheel, heated seats, rear sliding glass, 110v power outlets, power seat, carpet, auto climate control, or a 8" screen. Absolutely nothing. It's basically a base XL truck with chrome grille. Very odd how stripped down this truck was for the 2019 model year when the competitors' trucks pretty much had most or all of these things on the mid level trim.

2019 XLT didn't have carpet, or was it a delete option?
Problem is that I bought a top of the line Lariat in 2001 for $39K. Truck prices for me went up $28K in 18 years. I haven't priced out what my '19 would cost today, but it's probably about $28K more than paid for it 4 years ago.
The price increase has greatly accelerated in the past few years. I know it's not an apples to apples comparison, but it provides a rough idea of the price increases we've seen.
You'll be waiting a while. They have the 1999's lumped in with the 2016's in the other forum. They probably won't separate anything here until the SD goes electric...
"Hey guys, just got my electric SD today - is this plug ok to charge with?" (posts a picture of a 15amp receptacle horribly wired with 14-3 to a 30amp breaker in a sub-panel that has ground and neutral bonded.
