Yes, it will, which is why he said that the signal can be weakened when it goes through the RABS module. Unplugging the module will allow the PSOM to get a stronger signal. If the speedometer is better then you have found the problem.
Just tried pulling the RABS module, which is right behind the glove box. The glove box can be tricky to take out but you just open it up and squeeze in the bin from the left side and the right side so the stopper doesn't make contact with what usually stops it. After that it pulls all the way down and comes right out. I took two screws out of the module to easily disconnect the wiring. When I drove the truck, nothing changed. Thank you for that suggestion, one step closer to figuring this out.
I took my dash and cluster apart and visually inspect the PSOM. Doesn't look like anything is visibly wrong, but I assume capacitors or something else must be at fault.
I plan on sending it into Texas speedometers on eBay, does anyone have any experience with them? Roughly how long should I expect to be out of commission for?
Could I start my truck without my cluster plugged in? What about drive it? Plan on doing some transmission maintenance in the meantime.

I unplugged this to fix my speedo. I didn't undo any screws. I pulled the plug at the end of the box on the right side. It has a big clump of wires on the plug. Is that what u unplugged? I never did anything with screws.

That wiring harness connects to the RABS module so you need to remove it. I took the screws out of RABS module.so it was easier to remove wiring harness.

Does your truck have an automatic transmission? I’m curious if the RAB module can cause the bouncing speedometer at 70 MPH?
