i can't decide what route to go with the lift on my truck so instead of reading what people liked about their lifts i want to see what was disliked or what would be changed about their decision. any regrets about manufacturer or style of lift? i also should state i am looking into leveling kits or 4" lifts. thanks in advance, dan
I have a 4" Rancho that I don't like.......appears that the springs are sagging, rides a little bit rough, and the shocks are junk now with 15k on them. Hope to get this off and a better one on as soon as possible......
Even though I have some serious concerns, It is my opinion that the springs used by Donahoe racing's edge kit are still the best spring lift available. It should be noted that he purchases these springs from Deaver spring. You can buy straight from Deaver and save some........uh............time and then put the rest of your lift together. If you want a six inch I can get you a great price on a set of these springs for your sd.
sprbeast, I run a SL lift, have had no problems what so ever, and I drag around a snow plow for 5 months out of the year and still no front spring sag. I will offer this, I did not use their shocks or sway bar link brackets.

however as bad as i wanted to get this thing up in the air a bit, that will have to wait, it seems my furnace took a dump tonight(cracked firebox) and needs to be replaced. yeeee haaaa! and my conveyor dryer i use in my shirt business just quit. and i am still diagnosing that problem. lifes troubles never cease to amaize me.
i am still going to do it, just when is the factor. thanks for the replies all,
