My F350 Platinum order has been pulled but I still have time to make some changes. I had wanted Carbonized Grey with black interior but apparently it is presently ordered in Carmelo. I don't really care for the pictures I see of the Carmelo interior but I have never seen it in person. My salesman said he can change the order but he says most people really like it once they see it. I don't keep my trucks that long that I'm ok to give it a try so long as the resale isn't negatively affected. So, my question is: Is the interior colour a deal breaker for anyone ... either way? I mean is there anyone who wouldn't buy a Black interior but likes the Carmelo or vice versa? Does the Carmelo look better in person?
Black has been the "standard go to" for years and looks pretty dated. I have a King Ranch and like the non black. My wife's explorer had the black leather and it's OK. I it were me, which it is not, I would stick with the Carmelo
^^^ Maybe by then the massage seats will be available. I was just told that Ford is not pulling any orders with massage seats so to get the order pulled my sales manager dropped the massage seats .... that may end up being a deal breaker for me.
I have dogs and I work out of my truck in agriculture, development and construction. That "******* tan" interior would look like hammered dog poop in no time.

On Ford.ca build and price there is an option to delete multi contour seats (massage seats). Max recline can be selected with multi contour delete .... which is what my sales person selected. I asked him to try to add it back in.
At the time, I ordered my Platinum, Black was the only option with Rapid Red paint. When Job 2 came out. It was then an option and I had my dealer change my seat color.
I like a tan interior vs a black.
My truck went into production on Tuesday and my window sticker showed up today.

I believe Java is a King Ranch color. Baja is the Lariat option.
I think the Platinum interior is nice but the black is a bit of a let down. The platinum special color option (now called Carmelo) really makes them stand out as a platinum.
