Please confirm this...
I'm in the process of ordering an '08 F250 and the dealer tells me that I cannot order a Lariet with Black leather and black interior. If I want that he said that I would have to order a FX4? Please tell me this ain't so!

I got medium stone too. I think you and I discussed before. I was under the impression it was dark grey with black trim. Picked up my truck and discovered it is very light grey with some black trim. Would have liked it darker but still love the new truck. Glad I got the thick black rubber all weather mats as it adds some black and will stand up to traffic. Good luck with your truck when it arrives.

Yes, according to the lit, etc, it is true but if you have a dealer that is willing to work with for/with you, you can order a Lariat with the black leather interior and "other" items that aren't available on that package. Over a 10 year period, I bought/leased several cars for my wife and I at Varsity Ford in Ann Arbor, MI. My salesguy was awesome. We always did what was called a DSO (Dealer Special Order). I love the Lariat, but I can't stand the wood trim so we ordered the FX4 interior on it. I also ordered the painted black front and back bumpers and matching door handles, etc. Basically, I had a FX4 but with the rest of the goodies from the Lariat like the message center, auto rear view mirror, power rear window, etc. Anyway, it isn't easy and you have to be VERY specific and have the dealer follow thru or the factory can mess up but I never had any problems. I just moved to NY and am hoping that when I am ready for a new F350, I will find a dealer that is willing to go that extra mile for me. If they do, it will pay off for them as I am very loyal.
