tire pressure?

My door tag says 2001 Ford F-150 XLT* P255/70R16 29 PSI/32 PSI. Is it really 29 front and 32rear. My neon takes 32lbs. this seems way to low.
thanks

Your Neon's tires are much smaller too. I go by the door tag for my pressure.

When Ford recommended 28 for the Explorer, we all remember what happened right?
The tire manufacturer (Firestone said 28 could not be used without another layer of cushion)
I run close to the max pressure in my Michelin tires regardless of what the vehicle manufacturer says
Ford has always insisted that low tire pressure is part of the suspension design
They can have that
