I’ve had my 23 350 lariat for about a month and it’s sitting in the shop now waiting to be looked at. I’ve intermittently had several different issues mostly with the cameras
When I drive with one of the rear cameras on slowing down or stopping occasionally will kick the cameras off and back to car play screen. Have to press camera button to get the camera on again.
I’ve gotten trailer brake error on screen with no trailer attached
Max ac doesn’t always change fan speed up or down.
carplay won’t always play sound even when I can see a track playing. I’ve had to flip back to radio flip through stations and back to CarPlay to get volume.
my driver window got stuck once wouldn’t go all way down or up. So havtn used sicne it closed fully.
getting a strange rattle from passenger side seat/door area over bumps.
I’ve had to wait 3 weeks to bring in my truck to get looked at. Had to go back after one day to get driver tail light lamp changed as it was bad. Anyone else getting intermittent electronic issues? Almost wishing I kept my 21 lariat.
Had mine for 3 weeks and had the wheel speed sensor on the front passenger go faulty already causing all sorts of brake warnings on the dash and deactivating all the driver and safety assists. Making a hard right hand turn would do the same thing, so I’m hoping those issues are related. Sensor is on back order until 8/2.
Radio will regularly switch audio to car play when my phone screen lights up even though I’m listening to the radio or XM.
As others have mentioned, the dash never stays on the last screen you left it on when the truck was turned off.
My windows, lights, AC, mirrors have all worked fine so far and no mechanical issues either. But I’ve only been able to get 1100 miles on my truck in the 3 weeks I drove it before leaving at the dealership until that sensor comes in.
All in all though, I see these as minor issues and I love the truck. I’m coming from ‘99 SuperDuty and an ‘01 F150, so the step up to ‘23 lariat is huge for me

My 2023 does the same thing. Seems to only have the issue during sort trips. Where the truck is only shut off for less than 10 minutes.
I go to the phone settings menu in the sync system and turn bluetooth on and then carplay.

My '23 does very much the same thing, although it's seemed to have stopped it for the most part. I would sometimes only get audio through one (right) channel, or no audio at all. Part of the problem is the system is fighting for which avenue it wants to take... that is either Sync or CarPlay. I've been stuck in Sync, the phone will ring and I will answer, but no audio. That doesn't happen if I am in CarPlay.
I have to admit, as much as I like my new SuperDuty, the integration software on this thing SUCKS. It's slow, it's herky-jerky, it's buggy, and not very intuitive. My '17 2500HD was a super computer compared to this junker...

I had a '20 Denali 2500 and the infotainment system was far worse than the Sync4 in my '22 F450. It was almost exactly as bad as you described your experience with your Sync 4, plus my whole screen would randomly go black and sometimes wouldn't come back for a day or two. Sold that truck after 7500 miles and went to my first Ford truck.
Threads like these are a constant reminder that Ford is not a computer company and why some people want as little technology in their truck as possible. K.I.S.S.
gotta have that masaging seat and heated wheel and 15" screen and lane change stuff
Right. Me? I just want decent backup camera for hooking up trailers, 4x4 and comfy power seats as I adjust them several times a day because my hips get sore in one position, power mirrors might be optional as it is nice in the bank drive through.
Forget the rest of the garbage and put a sticker price at 45k.
A few issues I've had seemed to have worked themselves out after 6,700miles. Sync 4 and cameras have been perfect. Well, I do get kicked off android auto after I wirelessly connect then it doesn't happen again the rest of the drive. Not sure if that's a me/phone issue or truck.

The GM had it's moments, too... no doubt... but it was way ahead of my Ford.

I'd love to have my '99 SuperDoody back... even if it's just because it would let me shift my own gears.
I get almost giddy with delight thinking about the 7.3 'zilla mated to a 5- or 6-speed manual....
