I've been towing all day today with my big enclosed trailer and, every time I stop at a red light with the AC on and sit for a couple minutes, when I go to take off sounds like a jet taking off under the hood which I assume is the fan engaging. Should it do this at every red light? It only stays on for a few seconds at a time. It's only 100° right now ....
When it's 100 degrees out, my fan locks up all day long with the AC on. Even on the highway. Turn off the AC it's quieter, but I still hear it if I have to sit at a light for a while, then it goes quiet. But that's only with the AC turned off. With it on, it never lets go.
Well I'm glad it all sounds normal. I figured it was just because of the heat and the AC being on. Now that the AC works, things are different LOL
No! I will not turn off the AC! It is far too hot for that. We are expected to have 115 and 120° temperatures all next week. That AC is going to be ON!
I waited until the Sun disappeared over the western horizon, before i went out to mow grass tonight, my 80 y/o body can't handle this chit..
we have a Bad Boy 42 Zero Turn, got the narrow one, so it can go through the Gates into the front and back yards..... we have to keep our 3 doggies safe, they are not allowed outside the fence w/o a Leash...
anyhoo, tonight, I got a brain storm, going to pickup a piece of 1/2" X 18" black pipe, two pipe Flanges.... put one flange on the floor between my feet, at the front edge.... screw in the 18" riser, and put the 2nd flange on top.... then a piece of flat stock to hold a couple of Super Bright LED fog lights, the kind that hunters use to see 3,000 miles ahead of them
that way, we can wait until dark, then go mow...
we used to have Husqvarna riding mower, I put two LED lights on that, it was wonderful... but the Zero Turn kind of messed with my thinking, I can't put the lights on the front frame, they will knocked off in a heart beat.
