There's a spray paint available from Eastwood and Amazon called Almost Chrome. It doesn't look anything like Chrome, BUT, if you have Aluminum heads or an intake, and you just got it back from media blasting...now it has that dull, ugly White color... Use this stuff ! Your part will look like brand new aluminum again. Very nice results !
Speaking of exhaust manifolds I used JET HOT in North Carolina on mine. It’s a proprietary product/process, akin to a ceramic coating. They guarantee for life. It’s only their process. Not the same as cerakote. They’ve held up for two months now. No issues yet.

I used a silver colored or raw looking manifold paint. It burned off. Then I read here on FTE that guys used bar-B-Q grille paint. It still looks good.
Coffie please! Ya I did the aBBQ grill temp paint on my 312 it’s been hot here in Texas I painted a thin coat it got hot out side. Then did a heavy coat. So far so good ran the truck twice brake issue. They still look pretty good. I was told if you do several light coats it will not burn off. The paint I used is Silver and up to 1,200 degrees. I painted my grill with the black paint five year later it still looks good. AJ.
I know. I've never painted my BBQ grille but if I did I think the paint is for the body of the grille and not the gridiron or grille itself where you lay your meat .
