AC TROUBLES
What a roller coaster.2012 F350 Lariat. My AC system was working fine before summer, during summer hasn't worked at all so far, and then today we're randomly pulling into a speedway it started working again beautifully like it never had any issues at all. I drove around for a while and it didn't even break stride even after I went into Lowe's and came back out. Started the truck up again the AC was working great. Pulled into the gym for a couple hours and as I go to leave the AC is back to not quite working yet again. It gets kind of sort of cool but that's it.
I checked my ambient temperature sensor and it wasn't even connected in the door. Smh. Still hasn't fixed my AC though.What happened?? What's wrong with it??

My 05 was working intermently, I found the fuse box under the hood, took my air hose and blew it out very well, and it has been working right. The lid on mine does not hook perfectly, plastic seems to be going bad, one side hooks and not the other, so it probably leaks a little.

Mine had the same problem. search ac compressor clutch adjustment. What is happening is the fan clutch does not work well when hot and The clutch wears and the distance is to far for the electrics to engage it.
I is a very easy and free fix. There are a few spacers that are pre loaded in the fan clutch. The repair is loosening 1 bolt, remove the 1 or 2 spacers then putting it back together.
There are youtube videos on it. it is that common.
