I.m looking for the front bed sill and the second in line. I bought the cd Ford parts and I can find the picture but it only has a 4 digit number for it, am I reading the page wrong? I have a 62 F100 unibody body is off to sandblasting frame in my garage blasted and 2 gallons of POR15 and then truck bed coat sprayed. The bed has the first sill rusted out and the one right behind it is rusted only ones I have been able to locate are with Auto metal Direct and that only have stepside and flareside. Why would they be different then the unibody aren't the frames the same? Trying to include pic of manual. If anyone has found these or nowhere any are or even if I can cut from newer trk and weld in any help is appreciated want to get this thing rolling seems engine rebuild is the slowest
Your PDF is of the frame. But those "crossmembers" between the frame rails come on every truck whether you have any bed or which kind of bed. But you said you need the bed sills. Those wouldn't be part of the frame. Instead, you'd want the Illustrations catalog "Sheet Metal" section Page 912. But the Illustrations catalog only lists what's called the "Base Part Number". That led me to the Text catalog "Body Section 100" Page 1929 where it has the full part numbers for each sill.
And, the Unibody (body code 66) is unique in that the front most portion of the bed underneath is called the torque box. Nobody reproduces the torque box that I know of. Search this forum for "unibody torque box" and you should get plenty of hits.

Learned an old dog a new trick never heard it referred to as torque box but I can see it picturing it complete in my mind. Some of the other guy's chipped in one even used a piece of angle iron tacked to frame. Thinking like that I might get a piec of square tubing I have it's 1.5 x 4 inch might have to shim it up I'll see the truck is in shop being blasted. Thanks for resonse helps having guy's that have been there done that willing to help
