Low Boost
I have a F250 6.0 2004.
I had it park for six months during the time I was out of the Island. When I got back, I before getting into it I start it let run for 30 minutes. Drive good but three weeks ago I heard a blast coming from the engine and the hose from the turbo to intercooler. I replaced the ruptured hose from the turbo neck and replaced the intercooler. Start and it was in limp mode no boost. Ever since am having problems.
I did quite some checks to but to no changes.
Checking the Volts to the different sensors.
MAP 4.5 to 5V.
IAT 4.7 cold engine.
MAF 12V.
FICM 48 key on 47.5V. engine running.
IPR 16-28.
ICP 635 to 800 when starting. RPM surge 735-800.
EBP 5V. GND is good and return line to the PCM checked good.
EGR 5V. New EGR valve I read something that says that 12V or 0V is bad.
VGT 3.42 to 4.18 Ohms.
FICM SYC1.
Volts 12.8 after start and running 13.9 -14.
Codes I deleted and came back after engine start.
P0046.
P0102.
P0103.
P0237.
P0674.
And B1342 some times.
New parts I install because I had them in stock.
ICP/ IPR/ MAP/ Intercooler and rubbers. Turbo removed cleaned.
I used Scangauge II
Cread@r Professional 123E.
If you eliminate those codes, you might check your VGT connector. They get bunged up a lot and require a new pigtail..

Tomorrow I will go through it again and see what I can find. The last thing that went through my mind was the PCM might be bad because the pickup is almost twenty years old with 265000 miles on it. A few years back we had some bad weather here on the Island and a tree in the yard was hit by lighting and it split the tree in half. The pickup was park by the tree and the next morning my radio was fried. There after I was having issue with the timer after you turn the key off the radio will continue to play for a few minutes if you did not open the driver side door. Now I don't have that option anymore I have to change the cluster panel to regain that function. I will try everything you suggest in order to get it running again.
Thank you and have a wonderful week.

I then went over to the ICP and IPR connectors, where
they had quite some dirt and oil around them.
I clean them and I replace the IPR pigtail.
I then checked for the codes which were still present
After I started the engine, I cleared them again and the only two that came back was, the P0103 and P1000. Now all has been deleted.
Today I went on the road and it drives a lot better.
Thanks for the help and all the information you gave me without them it would be still parked under the tree.
Regards
K Leerdam
