My 2000 v10 excursion is leaking cold air and cold water from the bottom of what I assume is the blower motor housing. There is also a small 1/2 pipe that is protruding from the fire wall and blower cold air into the wheel well.
the truck has cold ac when driving. Not ice cold but cold enough. When idling/ sitting, it’s barly cold.
i live in florida to the outside temps are usually 95-100
Yes. It's also a way to help push the evap water out. Both sides of the evap are pressurized by the fan motor, so it's inevitable that air will bleed out.
I recently replaced the blower box, and other parts, you can get a better idea of what things look like when they are out.
Yep normal, check R134A levels, recirc door possibly not closing all the way (remove blower motor under hood to check) and fan clutch possibly week. Probably want to hit the condeser with some Dawn and a hose also.
