strange squawk from front end,
10 year ford dealership guy i had look at it, agrees, never heard this sound .
squank, grunt, almost like a muted goose honking
he looked at the obvious, bearings, ball joints, etc, all in pretty good shape.
heres a video of what it sounds like, the clicking you hear is my hazards on, i couldnt go much over 25 mph or it got real horrible.
ive owned this truck for 23 years and have never heard a sound like this.
any ideas would be appreciated !

shop said it was driver side bearings, replaced the whole hub assembly. i told him when i brought it in it wasnt the bearings, but he insisted it was after he looked at it.
they said come pick it up after a week, it was ready.
went to test it out before i paid the bill, and it still makes the same horrible grunting, groaning noise !
drove it back, told them no way, i want this sound gone.
bad misdiagnosis on their part.
who has to eat the parts and labor on this ?
