2005 ZF 650
Hello, new to the forum, have a 2005 F250 4x4 with the ZF-650. It is stuck in 3rd, and I don't have the want or will to buy the tools to rebuild it. I have access to an older ZF 650 from a 2000 7.3l. My question is, will the internals interchange?

I believe that the transmission is the same through the years, and for both the diesel and gas. GM also used it, with the difference being that the GM application didn't use the oil pump. The Ford ones have an internal pump and an external cooler.
