2015 F350 DPF code P2002

I have had my truck in the shop for this code several times they have cleaned the filter changed the fluid heater changed the fluid twice saying it was contaminated the changed sensors and I am still getting this code. Does anyone on here know if the DPF exhaust form a 2018 ford will work on my 2015 there is one for sale local and I would like to change the whole system out if I can Thank you in advance

Fixing code 2002

Code 2002 means you need a new DPF system. There is a crack in it which is why it throws the code. You can tell by seeing soot buildup or by it puffing smoke. Sometimes those symptoms will not show though. A DPF from a 2015 will not fit a 2018. It is a tad bit shorter and uses a different particulate matter sensor.

I have a video on YouTube c.taljing about that code.

yup, new DPF required. It is expensive since it also will come with the SCR.

Yep it's one whole assembly (torpedo). I actually have two of them to do. Going to film it. You also have to reset the parameters after install. It's not hard to do. Just heavy and expensive. The one for the 2015 model I'm doing at my cost was $2800 with a 500 core. The one for the 2018 I have to do was 3900 my cost. 500 core.

The exhaust changed when they went to gen 2 in 2017.

its similar but the bend in the pipe at the front near the black weight is a slightly different angle and wont line up.

After changing my DPF fluid twice saying it was contaminated removing the filter and having it burned out changing the DPF heater and pump the finally changed the sensor after I asked what tool they were diagnosing my system with cause it should tell them if the sensors are performing within parameters. Anyway they installed a working one from another truck they had and it seemed to cure my problem at least for 4 or 5 months now it is back. I recently found a complete system off of a truck with 48000 miles so it will be going in for a swap soon hope it cures the problem!
