code 7011
Can someone help me? I have a 2003 f350 work truck, & when I speed up the truck actually slows down. The code comes up as a 7011. What does it mean. Thanks in advance?

Never heard of it??? Is there an alpha-character in front of it? What are you using to pull the codes?

Seven eleven is the generic powertrain code for stop-for-a-big-gulp-and-slim-jim.

Actually, David, that just got me thinking when you said it like 7-11 instead of 70-11...Was the code you were getting a P0711??
That would be a transmission fluid temperature circuit issue, which could be caused by your issue or might? be the cause for the slipping?
My thought though is that what you describe as symptoms severe slipping is causing the code.
Fluid level and condition?

Thanks guys for your responses. Yes I think the transmission is slipping. I will have that looked at. Thank you again. Friskyjake.
