I've had my 2023 F-150 for a couple months now. The other day I noticed a small button on the panel above the windshield just behind the mirror. I tried looking through the manual, but can find nothing. I haven't tried pushing it yet because I wanted to find out what it is for.

I believe that is the pick-up microphone for the Sync 4 system for when you want to use audio commands (i.e. "Hey Ford...").
It might be a driver attentiveness camera. What level trim did you get?
The nanny cams (driver attentiveness cams) are on driver side "A" pillar and to the just right of that row of switches above the center Sync display. What he is referring to is the sync system's microphone.
