AC Blower Motor
I own a 2002 F350 7.3 and have recently come across information suggesting that grounding the blower motor directly to the battery could enhance its airflow capabilities. I'm curious if anyone has knowledge or experience regarding this matter. If it indeed works, could someone provide guidance on how to properly ground it to the battery? Thank you.

Yes it can improve the flow a little. . Run a wire from battery neg to the neg of the blower.

Would I just tap into the current negative or just run the one straight to the battery? Thank you.

I would not waste my time. Maybe your resistor is junk.
Clean the evap if you are experiencing low flow from the vents. One never knows what crap sucks up into it after 20 years.

I installed a new resistor, evap and fan. I’m not sure why my air flow is so low.

Fan blade could be on backwards, seen it before.

Have you tested the blower on and off the vehicle? I wonder if the vents are clogged.

did you replace the blower motor or just the fan?
My fan was fine but the motor speed was low, new one fixed it
while blower was removed i used a garden hose and some detergent to wash out the whole insides that were covered in mucky mouse nest stuff
after it was blowing so much, i dont use speed higher than 2 now even on hot days unless its been sitting in the sun all day

I found that when my blower motor quit I replaced it with a aftermarket parts store brand since I was in a pinch. It was noticeably blowing less air so I eventually installed a motorcraft blower motor and it was back up to par.
