I just picked up a 6.7 f350 lariat ultimate on (my dealer had a handful of off the lot) with the options I want for $3500 under msrp.
I wouldn’t put myself through the waiting game of making an order. Are some of you that picky about minor things that it’s worth the wait for an order? Or not something you could add aftermarket if needed?
the only thing my truck didn’t have that I probably would’ve ordered is powersteps. But I can put them on for not much hassle anytime I want.
im too impatient myself for the waits some people are going through lol

I'm sure glad I won't be in the market for a new truck for a few years, hopefully by then things will be back to normal.
Ford took away the only option that ever required me to order(manual transfer case) so I might never order another truck again and just find one on the lot.

A 7.3 short bed Lariat with bench seat is rarer than unicorn farts. So I'm stuck ordering. I do check the inventories every couple of days hoping I'll get lucky.

The default on build and price is the console. I suspect you are correct, almost nobody is going to order a truck like that, certainly not a dealer for stock, if such a thing even exists anymore. Kinda scared to ask why you would want that? had I ordered my current truck, it would have come with the optional console not the split bench I have.

Didn't want to deal with diesel. Wife, 3 kids, and dog fill up a truck quick, so the bench was a must. With how much space they have in the "console" when the center seat isn't being used, I'm really surprised it isn't more popular. Don't really lose any storage. I'd rather have the option of a 6th seat. Only loss I think over the full console is charging pad, vents for the back seat, and the 110 outlet in the backseat.
Granger told me that the banks for 2024YM don't open until the 25th of this month and therefore the pricing won't be available until then. Are you hearing something different?
If everything I'm reading is correct, I will be at my dealership this coming Monday morning to order my 2024 F450. I have all but completely given up on my 2023 being built so now I'm just hoping to get a 2024 sometime during the winter.

Like most here, I ordered back in October. Almost 9 months later - nothing. So I ordered a high country Chevy dually on June 23. Dealer just called today and said order was accepted and should be around 60 days. What is wrong with Ford? Really leaning toward taking the Chevy. Original Ford order was 450 platinum. If massage seats are not available on platinum, switch will be very easy.

When did they tell you this? I was emailing with them yesterday and they said Monday

I grew up on bench seats but once I got a console seat truck I said id never go back. Well I cancelled my 23' lariat order for a stx on the lot I got to say it was an easy transition back to the bench. I almost ordered a lariat with the bench because my kids wanted be able to sit up with me. Biggest downfalls for me is the cup holder space, the console storage and premium look.

Right? I passed a Chevy 2500 just today, 40 foot fifth wheel and a Jeep in tow behind that. It was doing 70 mph, what more do you want? He was easily over 24k lbs 13 feet tall 75 feet long.
It’s almost an insult that Ford can not build and deliver the top trims of their flagship vehicle. We are talking about 100 hundred thousand dollar freaking pickup trucks. And buyers lined up from coast to coast.
How can a business with the power of a huge company like FoMoCo not capitalize upon this market.
Is it intentional? That would seem stupid.
If it’s not intentional, who are the pinheads steering that ship?
