Just talked to my Dealer and they said the the chances of my 2023 F-350 King Ranch that I ordered on 10/28/2022 being built are just under the odds of me winning the Lottery. They asked if I wanted to change my order to a Lariat, I told them if I wanted a Lariat I would have ordered a Lariat. They also explained that their Allocations for 2023 Super Duties was only 11 due to the fact that over 70% of their 2022 Super Duties were never scheduled, now with 7 of their 11 allocations not yet scheduled they fear their 2024 allocations will be even less.
All I can say is Ford needs to get their head out of their @$$, their actions are driving more and more potential customers to GM & Ram every day.
When I said I was looking at jumping ship they asked why since I can get Z-Plan. I told them that if Ford can't deliver what good is Z-Plan.
Okay rant over.
Anyone else experiencing this problem?
Now days you have to ask the dealer how many allocations they have before you order. I am so tired of the Covid excuse everywhere, can't get this can't get that.
I traded my 2022 F350 KR for a 24 3500 Denali. But I’m also keeping my Ford orders going to have options. I switch every 2 ish years. My plan is to run this gmc until my Ford is eventually built. I needed a Dually so i had to make a move. Couldn’t wait on Ford. Gmc will bridge the gap.
I’d suggest you all do the same. If you need a truck then go get a truck. Waiting on ford if you need it is folly.
If you just want it, that’s different.
yea, you’ll spend a little more on multiple trades but if you are here then i assume you aren’t a poor and can suck it up.

You have waaaaaaaaayyyyyy more patience than I would have had. I would have given up on that dealer MONTHS ago and re-ordered somewhere else.
I’ve probably got the same chance of seeing the ‘23s I ordered. Mine were ordered as soon as the order banks opened. My dealer offers me good pricing but hasn’t been getting the orders in the last couple years. Last year I ordered 6 super duty’s and got 2. This year I ordered 3, haven’t seen and probably won’t see any.
I'm with you. Same story here. Ordered the same day as you, and another Thursday and .....nothing. Talked to my dealer Monday and it was almost the same as you, except they told me that the 23 may be built as a 24. LOL (That won't happen; no one here has had their MY come in as MY+1) When I called the dealer, it was to say I no longer wanted the 23 as it would be delivered as last years MY. I did not order on opening weekend to get last years model, or to get items deleted. The deletions took a toll on my 22 KR Expedition and Explorer. The change in allocations could be that could be because the higher volume dealers are pushing the smaller volume dealers out.
I did purchase a 23 3500 LTZ duramax last May.(with the thoughts of trading it in for the KR when it arrived). No complaints on the LTZ I was going to order a 24 High Country but the LTZ was there so I got it instead. If I had ordered the High Country then, it's delivery would have been later this month....
You can't drive an order or an "I'm sorry, but....."
If everything I'm reading is correct, I will be at my dealership this coming Monday morning to order my 2024 F450. I have all but completely given up on my 2023 being built so now I'm just hoping to get a 2024 sometime during the winter.
I am actually starting to lose patience and hope in Ford. I don't think the company respects itself or it's customers.
There is zero communication or light at the end of the tunnel. Closest thing we have to that are auto emails that don't always send and what I'm starting to heavily suspect is a work from home with a headset 🗣️ marketing department with a focus on meeting diversity hire numbers. I've interacted with some truly goofy fake annoying disengaged people in their department. Half of them don't even know how to look up what little information they do have access to or they just don't care. It's an ugly look for the company. They just mumble scheduled clean priority 10 and tell you to call your dealer...
So yeah today was the day for me to man.. this thirteen week window for scheduling is making it look less and less likely like our high end trims will get built.
I have a F450 Limited currently waiting to be scheduled on Priority 10 I placed the order the day order banks opened.
Right now I will likely move it over to a 2024. I have a refundable deposit that can be transfered over.
With that said I am going to seriously consider looking into getting a Ram 3500 Limited Night Edition DRW. If I can manage to get it built that's great but being honest dealing with these dealerships repeatedly is soul draining. I truly see why God invented cancer after calling dealership after dealership and Ford marketing department trying to do something as simple as a fair transaction and purchase.
I suppose the real question here is why is the company failing at everything? Literally they are exhausted inventory on F450 tires this week which theoretically means most DRWs won't see a build this week.
Your telling me these stupid Mother Fers can't even afford order tires in surplus anymore?
Same situation. Ordered a truck from Ford in October and nothing. From no truck, lack of communication from dealer, availability of GM products, the choice is pretty clear. I'm loyal to Ford but not stupid loyal. The tech on the GM trucks and interior are nicer than the Ford. Neither the Ford or Chevy are here but from the looks of it the Chevy will be built and Ford is just a pipe dream.

I'm even getting disgusted at the media now. Raitis Rides TFL talk. I don't care if this is how they feed their families.
They spend 30 minutes a video sucking Ford marketing executives ***** while doing test drives and reviews of King Ranches Limiteds and Platinums that aren't being built.
Not one single question. Why the fck can't your company build this for people who have placed orders? These guys aren't interested one damn bit about the customers purchasing these trucks. It's about sucking automative companies dicks to get free **** and YouTube and Patreon money.
Ford employees should be getting screamed at point blank in their face at this point during auto shows and press events.
IF the media stopped marketing for them and held them fully accountable and asked for specifics and numbers and answers which painted them in a negative enough light to scare off consumers maybe they would stop hiring basement dwelling disability check level morons to head up a hollowed out marketing department.

This is what won me over. When I saw what GM was doing with the interior of the 24 I was sold.
Don't get me wrong, I do prefer the better visibility of the Ford, but all the cheap plastics in the Ford really turns me off from them. Ford also has much more info available to you on the screens. More Regen statuses and options, Current Gear indicator, Turbo indicator, etc. This GMC has none of that and it's a little more shift happy. Ford seems to hold and lug gears more. But, in GM's defense here, the transmission is butter smooth, unlike the ford, so you don't notice the shifts and the interior is significantly quieter so you don't hear the engine as badly. So basically, what gear you are in doesn't matter as much since you can't hear it or notice it changing. Trade offs.
This GMC has soft touch almost everywhere, and definitely everywhere it matters. There are a few hard surfaces, but nothing like in the Ford.
Seats are hard in the GM and shorter. If you have longer legs / thighs, then the GM seats are going to be a problem. I don't love them, but they aren't the worst.
