Shifter/column swap?

I have a 2000 7.3 Excursion, that I'm swapping an '08 Allison from a D-max into. The shift tube is worn out, and with the Allison I can use a 6.7 Ford shift stalk with the plus and menus buttons for manual shifting.
That said, I'm looking for possibilities, and any info is appreciated. I've read that other columns will bolt in.
Possibilities?
1. Rebuild my shift tube, and modify a 2011+ stalk to fit. (I think DeStroked sells a modified one that bolts in)
2. Bolt in the new shift linkage (whatever it's called) from a 2011+ truck and use the shift cable and stalk, like the newer trucks. Shifter boot?
3. Use an Expedition column and shift cable most likely. This would have the multifunction switch to work the rear wiper.
4. Use a 2011+ column, cable and I believe newer Expedition multi switch.
5. I believe 2011+ F150 column, cable with Expedition Multi-function switch.
Any compatibility info is welcomed!
Or if anyone has threads covering this, I didn't find much.

I don't think they or Destroked swap columns. It's really a separate issue not involved to the swap. Not to mention I don't think CA is forthcoming with info, they want start to finish with them providing the trans and tuning also.
Zach McFarlin has swapped them when he does full dash swaps, and I know he did an Excursion. Almost positive he did a newer SD column with a newer Expy multi-switch, but that was a full SD dash swap with a custom harness.

My big question is what fits. Only because I have to change parts anyways, maybe I could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Maybe it'll be more issue than it's worth...

did you make an adapter kit for the trans or did you buy a kit?, I follow zach on ig he’s been radio silent for a bit, hope all is ok, i spoke to CA and inquired 2 different times about the kit minus the trans it has gone up in price substantially

I am using parts from a bus with T444E and an Allison behind it. You need an SAE3 converter housing (bellhousing) for the Allison then. I will be having a stronger flex-plate made though, as the bus one is too weak for my plans.

Zach really seemed to be having a tough time keeping up. That's my outsider prospective. I also hope everything is alright.

The swap has several pieces. Obviously the adaptor and flex-plate, a clocking ring for the T-case, input shaft and tone ring for the T-case, modify the crossmember, modify both driveshaft lengths (4x4), controller and harness, modify the PCM to think it's a manual trans. Probably forgetting more, like dipstick, shifter bracket etc...

My focus currently is column. I'd like someone with experience swapping this stuff around to know what parts fit, or if I should just get stock replacement shift tube. parts, and the modified shift stalk from Destroked.
