2002 Excursion alarm disable
Does anyone know hoe to disable the back-up sensor alarm when towing a trailer? I know you can hit it to silence it when it starts beeping, but i was curious if there's a setting or trick to keep it quiet when i'm reversing my boat down the ramp or backing down my long *** driveway with multiple corrections.

So the Park Aid is something I just added. You are supposed to be able to push the dash switch and it lights up showing it's off. But every time you move the shifter out of reverse, then return to reverse, it resets, and you have to override with the dash switch.

Ya that's what i am currently doing and have been since i owned the truck. I didn't know if there was an override or not. It's just a PIA backing my boat down my long *** driveway and threading the needle into my driveway having to hit the "off" button every time i have to pull forward and correct a turn.
