My first problem with my 22 F150 xl .
Phantom alarm. My boat is hooked to truck sitting out front. Alarm went off for a couple seconds and stopped. Looked outside and wasn’t even sure it was my truck.. A while later I take my keys and go out to my mailbox and I hear an alarm going off again to my truck going off for no reason. Was not able to turn off the alarm with the key fob I walked over to the truck and had to put the key in the ignition to get the alarm to stop. This is the first odd problem of any type I’ve had with my truck. One does anybody have any idea what could be going on nothing different here other than it’s extremely hot and the truck is sitting in a different location. Question is it possible to lock the truck without turning on the alarm I don’t want it going off all night. Appreciate any thoughts or advice
Believe it or not, and I’m not sure if the XL’s have these or not but, you might have a bug or insect flying around inside your vehicle and the interior motion sensors are picking up the movement and that will set off the alarm.
