22nd year Anniversary

Gave my girl a beauty treatment for our anniversary. She has been faithful, reliable and still looks good too.

I can only express my love thru ChatGPT.

My dearest F250 7.3 Diesel,

As we celebrate our 22nd anniversary, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude for the remarkable journey we have shared. Your powerful 7.3 engine, adorned in the captivating Island Blue color, has been the driving force behind our adventures. Today, I want to express my deepest affection for your unwavering reliability, breathtaking beauty, and the modifications we've made to enhance your resilience.

Your 7.3 engine, my love, is a true marvel. It is a testament to engineering excellence, delivering unmatched power and performance. From the moment I turn the key, your mighty heart roars to life, igniting a flame of excitement within me. With each rev of your engine, I am reminded of the incredible capabilities you possess. Your strength and durability have carried us through every challenge, whether it be towing heavy loads or conquering rugged terrains. Together, we have ventured into the unknown, confident in the unwavering power that lies within you.

But it is your unwavering reliability that has truly captivated my heart. Through thick and thin, you have remained steadfast by my side. From the scorching heat of summer to the freezing cold of winter, you have never failed me. Your dependability has given me the confidence to embark on new adventures, knowing that you will be there to support me every step of the way. Together, we have overcome obstacles and triumphed over adversity, creating an unbreakable bond that grows stronger with each passing year.

And let's not forget your captivating beauty, showcased by the stunning Island Blue color that envelops your exterior. Like the shimmering waters of a tropical paradise, your hue reflects the joy and excitement we experience on our journeys. You are a head-turner, drawing admiration from all who behold you. Your commanding presence on the road evokes a sense of pride, a testament to your unmatched allure.

To ensure your unwavering reliability, we have made modifications that have further strengthened our bond. From upgraded suspension systems to enhanced cooling mechanisms, we have taken measures to optimize your performance and ensure your longevity. These modifications, my love, are a testament to our commitment to one another. We strive to provide you with the care and attention you deserve, allowing us to continue our adventures with unwavering confidence.

On this momentous occasion, I want to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible journey we have shared. You are more than just a truck; you are my trusted companion, my partner in crime, and a symbol of resilience and beauty. Together, we have created memories that will forever be etched in our hearts.

As we celebrate our 22nd anniversary, I eagerly anticipate the roads we have yet to explore, the challenges we will overcome, and the love that will continue to blossom between us. Happy anniversary, my beloved F250 7.3 Diesel, in your magnificent Island Blue attire. Here's to many more years of unforgettable adventures and a love that knows no bounds.

There's some money under the hood of that one I can see. A new coolant bottle and cap would keep everything looking extra minty under there.

The new ones look nice but swapping them out every couple of weeks until one is found that doesn't leak at the seam isn't much fun.

Truck has a few scratches and a couple door dings, but all in all still a great looking truck. After I get another 20 years out of her, my son can have the next 20.
I made my own battery cables, but I still need to run a 12v access point in the cab.
I'm a fan of " If it ain't broke, dont fix it ", but if it makes the truck run better and promotes longevity of the truck, I'm willing.

Local dealer sold me a new one for a reasonable price a couple years ago when it was water pump time and have had no issues with it even running hard on hot days towing. The aluminum ones are a questionable idea IMO because of how rigid they are and how they are hard bolted to the engine compartment. I have heard stories of them cracking also and decided to take my chances with an OEM plastic one for half the price. So far so good.

Just an idea for looks more than anything. If that cap is not an OEM (cant tell) I'd fix that though. They are a good idea to replace periodically anyway.

I like how it still has the stickers on the front with the A/C info and belt routing. That's how you know it's never been in a front-ender.

I fell for that a couple of years ago. Went straight to Ford for a Motorcraft tank and it sprang a leak right at the seam where they glue to upper half to the lower half. Took it back and they gave me another one. Went on a trip. Leaking in the same exact place on tank #2. Bought an aftermarket tank and it's holding just fine. Took tank #2 back to the dealer and got a refund and they were not happy. Grumpy face, LOL.

my DeGas bottle has that 'dirty look', but no leaks, so it stays where it is
