From the 208 on the tag, I am going to assume you have a New Process 208 transfer case. Here are all the different types of transfer cases you could have on a 1985 f250.
Warner manufactured
New Process manufactured, flange output
New Process manufactured, slip yoke output
You can see there were two different types of 208 transfer cases, flange yoke would have the slip yoke male and female on the driveshaft, and slip yoke output would have the male on the driveshaft and that would slip up into the back of the transfer case. Which one do you have?

Have you asked around the local junkyard to see if they have any ideas... How about a local auto machine shop. Not sure where you live, but around CT there are any number of old places I'd go to ask if needed.
