Grill repair?
The grill on my ‘69 F-250 has a dent or two hundred. I’d like to straighten it out a bit. Has anyone had any luck carefully hammering out the dings? Is it something I should heat up first? I don’t want to make it worse…. My first thought was to use a leather or wood backer block and carefully knock the dents out from the inside using a rounded punch to avoid cutting into the metal. Any wisdom to share?

Any idea what the cost of that repair is? A reproduction grille for 70 is nearly $800.

Lizer No I don't have any idea on his prices. But from what I've read here on FTE. Some of the repop grills turn yellow looking fairly quickly. So for me I would rather pay to have og one fixed. Robert you still out there.?
