SO.... a little cool down was NICE!!

 

Too hot indeed! Was just telling Mike the other day it’s been too hot to even go to the JY lately.

Kinda weird round here.

System stormed through Mon or Sun, not a drop fell. Temp dropped 22* felt wonderful

Stormed like hell & deluge late yesterday afternoon & dropped barely 10* couldn't tell it at all.

Hope everybody made it through the 4th with all fingers & eyes intact.

 

Wife and I had a picnic lunch at the Vicksburg Military park. We enjoyed the shade and breeze while we ate. Park was packed with visitors. Nice to see. Was the 160th anniversary of the fall of Vicksburg.

 

I want to go back to the Military park. It has been years since I was there.

 

Same here Mike. We really enjoyed it. I have always been a history buff.

 

So Thomas will tell you that lately I've been living the "my bad luck could have been soooo much worse luck"...

I guess the chainsaw will be for Christmas... Took the F150 to a car show in Pearl. Damn its hot today.

 

Maybe one day, but not anytime soon.

But hey, itz a helluva' nice HD Makita 18vlt w/interchangeable tool head.

Came w/chainsaw pole attachment which will be useful.
