1996 ford explorer 5.0, timing issues

1996 ford explorer 5.0, timing issues
Anyone know what’s the easiest way to get to the timing chain? I think it stretched or jumped a tooth cause the engine is skipping, I put my code reader on it and showed o2 sensor not working replaced those still skipped. Took the intake manifold off and it showed rust in the two cylinder where the tunnel rams are. I did compression test one cylinder out of the 8 tested at 90 the rest were 100 to 110 ish. Also the passenger exhaust heats up way to quickly. So I figured maybe timing was off and can’t find too dead center
