When I replaced mine, Rudy's didn't have a kit available for 2017+. They do now and looking at the price difference I'd probably consider going with them over HSM.
Before installing my new intercooler pipe I looked inside for debris and noticed this. It goes around the entire circumference but this is the worst part. I sent a question to H&S tech support but thought I would get a second opinion here. What do you think?
No matter at the current time, for me that is. I already replaced the cold side hose (all rubber) from SPE a while back, and also the hot side kit from them as well. If anything, I'd go with the metal cold side kit later on (if Banks doesn't charge an arm and two legs for it, that is).

I just wish SPE would ship my durn intake, LOL.
Yeah unless I get independently wealthy , I'd probably keep my SPE hot pipe and but I want to upgrade my Rudy's cold pipe at one point but that won't be until down the line. But then again, I want to upgrade to the PPE CAC and their pipes are 3 inch as well, so could not use Banks cold pipe with the PPE supplied lower coupler because the PPE lower outlet is angled up, unlike the stock and most aftermarket CACs. I'd more than likely go with a Pusher cold pipe with two ports for possible methanol injection experimentation at one point... maybe... I'm full of ideas that may or may not come to fruition...
I was just throwing the Banks new and upcoming CAC pipe upgrades up for FYI for all...
But do like the 3.5 inch pipes but not a huge fan of the color red though...
Well, I'm with you because that's something THEY should have done prior to it leaving their building... you don't expect to have molding excess like that in what is supposed to be a quality aftermarket upgrade part. Man that's just crap customer service IMO...

Yeah no fun being QC department for someone you bought a part from.... that is a bummer.
