more ignition problems
1985 f150. You guys know this thing by now all it has is problems. So my pick up coil went bad and was causing a timing issue, took distributer apart and put it all back together, no issues there. it sparks.
put it back in truck, and now the timing is impossible, put it at #1 TDC and set the distributer to #1 and now it runs like it’s sucking vacuum. I know all vaccum lines are good so that’s not The issue. Neighbors are sick of hearing it idle like **** so I need to figure out the issue.
TLDR: rebuilt distributer, set timing, and I can’t advance or retard it enough to make it run not like garbage.
