Rear A/C Line Filter Screen

Just an FYI, if you are redoing the Excursion A/C due to a compressor melt down there is an inline screen for the rear you can get to by the quick disconnects by looking up underneath the truck. My front orfice was filled with garbage and was trying to figure out why I was having trouble flushig the rear lines. Rear A/C Refrig filter was clogged with crap #GPD 3441235 .

Great tip. When I had a similar issue, the shop needed to replace both filters twice to capture and clean out all the crap that got sent to the rear system.

I've flushed all the lines and replaced the rear evap along with the condenser. Front evap I flushed really well so hopefully I won't have to crack it open again.

Mine is going in next week for a complete system flush, condenser and compressor replacement. Prior shop never did the job correctly and dealer is redoing it, just does not get cold at idle.
