I have a E350 powerstroke van. Is leaking oil from the plug behind the hpop how can I replace it with so limited room to work on? Can it be done from the rear of the engine or could I lift the van cab off the chassis to get more room to work on?
Are you talking about the small “non-serviceable” plug? I’m pretty sure the HPOP has to come out to repair that one. There’s a check ball that will fall out of place so the pump has to be out.
Riffraff and other reputable sellers have a longer plug service kit for it.
No am talking about the rear plug that is parallel with the IPR. I seen a few YouTube videos where they replace the seal but is done on pick ups not on vans.
