Help, backup camera plug cut off and wires wrong
Help someone cut off the plug for the backup camera and wire nutted the wires together. But there seems to be an extra black wire on the tailgate side. The camera says it is unavailable on the sync screen. I don't know if it is wired wrong or what. Any suggestions? I can't read a wire diagram but I can follow directions very well. If it is a bad camera, could also use suggestions. But I rather start cheap and check the wires. Truck is a 2014 f250 lariat edition. 6.7 diesel.
